HOW CAN I USE THE MTN BIS TO BROWSE & DOWNLOAD UNLIMITEDLY ON MY LAPTOP?
A Good news for mtn user first to you know you can
browse free using your blackberry bis subcription
but first before you can make it work there are some useful step you will have to flow
step 1.you will need an mtn sim then Load it upto N1,500 Recharge Card and then Text BBC to 21600, The money will be Deducted and a massge will be send to your mobile phone informing you that your bis is now Activated for the MTN BIS plan.
step 2.you will have to Remove the SIM from your Phone and then Insert it into your Modem,
after doing that you will then Open the Modem Software Installed on your Phone.
step 3.flow the step first you will have to Click on Tools > Options > Profile Management > now you will have to Click
on New now you will have to Fill in the New Network Details. fill this on the blank space and flow the instruction
Profile Name:-
MTN BIS
APN: Tick on Static, then type blackberry.net in the APN Field
Access Number: *99#
Username & Password: web
4. Then click on the "Advanced Button", You will see the DNS Setting Option, Tick the Static Button and Enter the Below Data into the space provided.
Primary DNS: 10.199.212.120
Secondary DNS: 83.143.8.220
5.after you have don with that Now Click on the OK button once all this has been Done, you can now Go back to the Home/Connection Page of the Modem Software and Choose the MTN Bis in the Profiile Name, Click on the Connect Button, You are Set to Surf.
6.Now Open your Browser and Surf (No Extra Settings Needed).
now you can go ahead and start enjoy umlimited browsing on your laptop powered by mtn!!!
